About the event

With the days getting shorter, weather chillier and people mixing again, runny noses, coughs and viruses are rather on trend right now.

There isn’t a day that goes by at the moment without someone asking me about how to support their immune health.

Thankfully there is so much that can be done to help fend off a tickly throat or avoid recurrent lengthy cold and flu bugs in the winter. Many of these things take very little time and effort.

This lunchtime talk on Supporting Immune Health will be run by Kathryn Watson (UK Registered Nutritional Therapist mBANT and Health Coach).

How to naturally support a healthy immune system through your diet and lifestyle choices.

Key takeouts:

- What is the immune system?

- How the gut and microbiome holds the key to good immune health

- What key vitamins/nutrients do we need for a healthy immune system

- What immune supporting 'superfoods' are there and how to include in your diet easily

- Do we need to supplement?

- What lifestyle practices support a healthy immune system?

- Q&A for 15 minutes at the end

- Summary handout emailed after the event with immune supporting recipe ideas

Recording will be emailed for those who cannot make the session live.

Previous attendees to the Immune Health talk said:

“Kathryn is so knowledgeable about nutrition. Her immune health talk was a timely reminder of things I had heard before but forgotten to put into action as well as providing new information and ideas I hadn’t thought through. A manageable length of time and level of content to take in. Very much recommend these sessions with Kathryn"

"We really enjoyed the talk. So helpful, with all the little tips and advice. Thanks Kathryn"

"I attended Kathryn’s Supporting Immune Health webinar and can highly recommend it. I have auto-immune issues and I took away lots of things that I can implement into my daily routine. Also have a picture of Eat the Rainbow on my fridge to get my children to be more conscious of eating the right things! So informative, interesting and backed up by science - do it!!
