My Approach

I have always loved and been interested in health; exercise and food have been my main passions in life. After 10 years of working in Advertising and Media, I had my first child, and quickly realised that I had a real desire to turn this passion into my day job.

Let Food Be Thy Medicine
As a young mother I struggled with stress, anxiety and hormonal issues. While studying for my Nutritional Therapy Diploma, I learnt about the power of food and good nourishment to support the body through times like this.
I believe the body has the most amazing power to heal itself and be well, we just need to equip it with the right tools to do so.

Special Interests

I help clients understand what they need to do and what dietary and lifestyle changes they need to make, in order to feel healthy and nourished.

My particular interests include women’s health, hormones, stress and anxiety, as well as children’s nutrition.

MY QUALIFICATIONS

I studied for 3 years for my Diploma in Nutritional Therapy from CNM in London (College of Naturopathic Nutrition), as part of my training we had to build up 200 hours of clinic experience with clients.

I hold a BSc (Hons) degree in Experimental Psychology from Bristol University.

I have also obtained a Level 7 ILM Certificate in Coaching and Mentoring.

Not only will my experience ensure your nutritional recommendation are based on proven and current scientific research, but I am also able to support you closely through the process of adopting healthy changes into your lifestyle.

I am a UK registered practitioner, and have met the strict criteria required for accreditation through BANT, the British Association for Applied Nutrition and Nutritional Therapy and the CNHC, Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council. They both require members to have training at an accredited institution as well undertake continuing professional development to maintain the highest standards. The CNHC is both NHS and Government recognised, and the only regulator for Nutritional Therapists that is accredited by the Professional Standards Authority
